Lucy LoudThe Loud House, The Casagrandes and The Really Loud House character
Albert (voiced by Fred Willard in S1E15A-S4E14B,[28] Christopher Swindle in S5E9B, Piotr Michael in S5E25B onward, portrayed by Bill Southworth in A Loud House Christmas) is the kids' maternal grandfather, Lynn Loud Sr.'s father-in-law, Rita's father, and Ruth's brother. It is revealed in the series that he was a former member of the United States military until his retirement. Albert wears a white button-up shirt, blue jean overalls with orange suspenders, a black belt, and white sneakers. He has a good relationship with his daughter and is very close to Lincoln, with whom he shares the same hair color and hairstyle. While it was revealed in "Cover Girls" that Albert is near-sighted, this is never brought up again in later episodes. Starting in "The Old and the Restless", Albert moved into Sunset Canyon Retirement Home where his old friends live.
The Casagrande family
Ruth (voiced by Grey DeLisle[29]) is Albert's sister, Lynn Loud Sr.'s aunt-in-law, Rita's paternal aunt, and the Loud children's maternal great-aunt. She is depicted as a cat lady with a distasteful attitude because she makes the kids eat old pudding and watch her cats when the Loud family visits. Ruth is also shown to have a sixth toe on her left foot which creeps out even Lynn Sr. Only Rita, Lana, and later Lily are the ones who can tolerate visiting her. Newspaper comic strips are also influences on the show's background art.
Does Lucy’s behavior align with her possible age range?
In "Back in Black", Lori tried to help Lucy in her romantic life by bringing Bobby, Lucy and Rocky Spokes on a double date. However, things did not go quite well but Lori told Lucy that she and the other sisters love Lucy and still think of her as perfect the way she is. In "Sound of Silence", she is eager to tell him about a dream she recently had, and later tried asking him to come to her séance not knowing he was tuning her and the rest of their sisters out. In "Family Tree", Lucy reads her siblings a haiku she wrote about refusing to change Lily.
Popular on Variety
Lucy is a cynical, deadpan, and mysterious goth girl who is almost always sporting a stoic frown. She is interested in occultism, poetry, and the works of Gothic authors, like Edgar Allen Poe and Lovecraft. The reason for her gloomy and miserable persona is because she feels left out that nobody listens to her and everyone thinks she's weird (despite their obvious quirks). At 9-years-old (8-years-old before Season 7), Lucy is the fifth youngest of the Loud siblings and the eldest of the younger sisters. She has a habit of popping up and scaring people, a running gag in the series. Lucy attends the fourth grade (third grade in Seasons 1–4) at Royal Woods Elementary School.
Her name came from Savino and his wife's plans for having daughters.[8] In the first four seasons, Lily is usually seen wearing only a diaper. From the fifth season on, Lily is seen wearing a white shirt, lavender shorts, and white booties. Lily is babysat by Lincoln on several occasions, with whom she has the best younger sister relationship along with Lucy and Lana. She has a habit of losing her diaper, which her older siblings put back on.
Her favorite color is black.
Whether you relate to her brooding demeanor or admire her poetic skills, Lucy is undeniably a standout character in the cartoon world. Lincoln Loud is the only boy and the middle child in a family of eleven children residing in the fictional town of Royal Woods, Michigan. He has ten sisters with distinctive personalities consisting of bossy eldest child Lori, ditzy fashionista Leni, musician Luna, comedian Luan, athletic Lynn Jr., gloomy poetic goth Lucy, polar opposite twins Lana and Lola, child genius Lisa, and baby Lily. Lincoln occasionally breaks the fourth wall to explain to the viewers the chaotic conditions and sibling relationships of the household, and continually devises plans to make his life in the Loud House better. Additionally, a second live-action television film A Really Haunted Loud House premiered in September 2023, as well as a second animated feature film, The Casagrandes Movie, which premiered in March 2024 on Netflix. Leonard Loud (voiced by Rick Zieff) is Lynn Sr.'s father, Rita Loud's father-in-law, and the kids' paternal grandfather who was mentioned by Lynn Sr. in "Vantastic Voyage".

The McBride family
Lynn Sr. has Lincoln do the yard work after Clyde unknowingly mentions how Lincoln gets out of it. Lincoln enlists Lana to speed up the riding mower's engine which goes too fast. The two end up in trouble with Police Chief Wellington who ends up dragging them on a ride-along that involves going after the dairy kingpin Milkshake Marty and his Custard Gang when they hijack Auntie Pam's ice cream truck. Lola and Lucy get trapped in the basement with a supposed half-goat half-serpent Mesopotamian monster from one of the horror movies they were watching there as everyone else starts getting locked in the basement with them one by one. Lily goes missing from Lynn Sr.'s supervision as he struggles to find her.
Feature films
Rita's episode of Listen Out Loud and the episode "Candy Crushed" reveals that Lola has a strong sweet tooth. She is named after one of Savino's five sisters.[8] Lori was the roommate of her younger sister Leni before she started attending Fairway University as of "Schooled!". In earlier episodes, Lori was often bossy, short-tempered, and condescending towards her younger siblings; however, she cares deeply about her family. She also has a long-distance sweetheart named Bobby Santiago, the big brother of Ronnie Anne Santiago who is Lincoln's best friend; however, Lori enjoys seeing the two together, thinking that the two are a couple, much to their dismay. Lori wears a light blue tank top, brown cargo shorts, blue slip-on shoes, and white pearl earrings, she is tall, blonde, and stands out for being attractive.

In "Fandom Pains", Lucy was annoyed that Lori, along with Leni, have started watching The Vampires of Melancholia because Blake Bradley was casted into the show as Tristan and attempted to get them to stop watching so she can watch in solitude. Once Tristan falls off a cliff, both Lori and Leni leave in tears while Lucy was glad she can go back watching her favorite show by herself again. In "After Dark", Lucy tells Lincoln and Clyde a ghost story about a man named Gregory Garfunkel who died due to being trapped in sticky tape. In "A Dark and Story Night" during playing a story telling game, Lucy tells what happens in the story. Lincoln corrects her about what type of shoes his character was wearing. In "Sleuth or Consequences", she clogged the toilet which leads to Lincoln being wrongfully accused.
She is named after a pet dachshund Chris Savino's mother-in-law owned.[8] She wears a purple shirt with a skull, a lavender skirt, a white belt, purple-tipped socks, high purple boots, black paperclip earrings, three bracelets, and a choker. Luna is a wild and upbeat musician who owns and plays various instruments; her signature instrument is a purple Dean ML electric guitar. Her passion for music has some negative effects, as in the episode "For Bros About to Rock" it is revealed that she unintentionally "ruined" her siblings' first concerts. Showrunner Michael Rubiner said that "with 10 girls in the family", the crew felt natural "to explore one of them being LGBTQ".[18] As of the episode "Racing Hearts", Luna and Sam are officially dating.
Lucy is a 9-year-old Emo Gothic Lolita girl who loves poetry and all things dark and spooky and has the uncanny, unusual power to teleport (Often accompanied by a blast of pipe organ music), which frightens her siblings. Lucy has very pale gray skin and long black hair, with bangs long enough to cover her eyes. Dressing in black and white, she wears a black dress over a tank top with black and white stripes, matching black and white striped sleeves and stockings, and black shoes.
